SIG joined the greater Gresham community on Saturday, May 18, 2024 with a booth at the Original Gresham Farmer’s Market (GFM). SIG members educated GFM patrons on SIG membership, its programs and community involvement. SIG members also promoted the 2024 Soroptimist Teddy Bear Parade (TBP), SIG’s primary fundraiser that supports its programs. GFM patrons posed in the selfie-station with teddy bears riding in a Radio Flyer, a real-life adaptation of the TBP logo. SIG will return to GFM on June 15, August 17 and September 14, building up to the 2024 Teddy Bear Parade on September 28.
